Use the five criteria we've presented in the chapter to evaluate the next Website you use (accountability, accuracy, objectivity, recency, and presentation. Ask yourself these questions about Websites you use:
1 . To whom are the developers of the site accountable?
2. How accurate is the information on the site? Are sources of information documented? Can the information be verified by other sources?
3. How objective is the site? Who is financially supporting the Website.
4. How recent is the information in the site? When was the site last updated?
5. What is the overall visual appearance of the site? Has the Website been developed with care and precision?
