This program is comprised of the "Infants, Children, and Adolescents in Action" videotape and a companion guide. Laura Berk has revised and expanded this real-life videotape, containing a wealth of observation segments that illustrate the many theories, concepts, and milestones of child development. The accompanying Observation Guide, prepared by Dorothy Welty-Rodriguez and Dr. Berk, helps students use the video in conjunction with the textbook, deepening their understanding of the material and applying what they have learned to everyday life. In addition to chapter-by-chapter summaries of video content and questions and activities, the guide features perforated pages that students can hand in as assignments. The Interactive Companion (IC) is an access-code protected website that accompanies the text; access codes to the site are free, and come inside every copy of the book.
