ACTIVITY 9.9
Second Draft Critiques
Now that you have had a chance to revise your draft,
and if time permits, arrange another round of peer reviews.
Step 1: Reflecting on Your Revisions
First, write a new reflective statement about the most
recent draft by considering the following. Be sure to append your
reflective statement to the draft before sharing it with your peers.
What did you change to create this most recent draft, and why did
you do so?
What is your favorite part of this draft?
What other revisions are you planning on making?
Are there particular sections you want particular type of help on?
Are there some particular issues you want your readers to focus on?
If you had had more time to prepare this draft, what would you have
done differently?
Step 2: Sharing Second Drafts
Exchange your draft with the same or new peer critics
either in hard copy or electronic file or as E-mail or an E-mail
attachment. Peer critics should use the criteria described in Activity 9.6
to generate feedback on this most recent draft.
