Thank You, Thank You Very Much

Ahhhhh... Thanksgiving break. Though it may have seemed far too short, I've got to say that Thanksgiving was a really nice time. So in the spirit of the holiday, for this week's column I've made a short list of things for which I am thankful. Some of them are just your basic college-kid things, and some of them are special to me. Enjoy!

All Duke students should be thankful for:

The semester drawing to a close (no more Calculus! Hooray!)
The Duke-Arizona game (or should I just say the DUKE game), which gave us the trophy from the Maui Invitational
Once again being able to let our rooms get as messy as we want without our parents complaining
Tenting season, which officially began yesterday
South Park
Sleep, when you can get it
Trinity Cafe
Real ice cream at the Marketplace
Apathy (especially concerning term papers)
Having a car at college
Photo ops and semiformals (which are one and the same)
Hall activities
Gothic architecture
Grade inflation
The Chronicle
