Chapter 2 Exercises
- Think of an issue in your everyday life. Generate as many research questions as you can involving that issue.
- Identify a research question. For that question, define a research project at each of the five levels of constraint defined in Chapter 2.
- Scientific thought processes are not used only in science. Identify several situations in your life in which you have used a combination of inductive and deductive reasoning. Think about each situation carefully and identify ways you could have improved the precision of your thinking.
