Create
a Diet Activity
-
The goal of this activity is to show how to
select foods on the Step II Diet. You will be given the opportunity to
select foods from a variety of choices and then receive a report on how
closely you were able to match your Step II Diet goals for saturated fat,
fat, cholesterol, sodium and calories. This activity was designed to provide
you with an idea of how to make the best food choices on the Step II Diet.

Calculate
Your Body Mass Index
-
The new NHLBI obesity guidelines propose that
doctors use body mass index (BMI) to assess patients because the
index is simple, correlates to fatness, and applies to both men and women.
To determine BMI, weight in kilograms is divided by height in meters, squared.
