Memo Evaluation


Rate the writing on the following aspects, keeping in mind that 4=excellent, 3=good, 2=fair, and 1=poor. Write comments when appropriate.


The memo begins with an overview that provides context, defines the task or problem, and clarifies the memo's goal; if the memo is long, this overview is followed with a formal summary.

The body of the memo presents information readers need to understand the arguments and their situational context and to be convinced that the claims are valid.
