The Two Major Professional Psychology Organizations
Until recently there has been only one major professional organization for psychologists, the American Psychological Association (APA), http://www.apa.org/. In 1988, a second organization was formed. The American Psychological Society (APS), http://www.hanover.edu/psych/APS/aps.html, is quite different in scope and purpose.
