1) Find some banner ads that are labeled as an “advertisement” on a few children oriented sites and a few general audience sites.

2) Go to “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy” pages.  Notice the ads that appear while playing and notice that you’ll get a “free spin” if you click on a banner.

3) Set your monitor display to 832 X 624 resolution. Go to the USA Today home page and notice that on some pages the extra space to the right of the screen is used as an “extramercial” and on other pages it’s used as an index.  Look around at some of your favorite sites to see which ones post extramercials.

4) Go to USA Today.com and read about their online advertising policies and prices.
