FACULTY SUPPLEMENTS

The Instructor’s Resource Manual, written by Martha Ellis of Collin County Community College, contains a wealth of activities, handouts, and numerous additional teaching aids. Peter Gram of Pensacola Junior College has developed a lengthy test bank, which is also available in computer-ready format (Macintosh, DOS, or Windows). Many of the items have been classroom-tested and validated at Montana State University. Over 3,000 multiple-choice questions are available on the test bank.

A full set of color acetate transparencies is available to enhance classroom lectures and discussions, along with a supplemental set of 60 acetates newly rendered for this edition.

An interactive video, with on-screen critical thinking questions and video user’s guide, has been developed to accompany Psychology, Seventh Edition; the video segments illustrate real-life applications of the textbook topics and provide a springboard for initiating classroom discussions. The accompanying video user’s guide offers suggestions for using the video in class and contains a summary of each video segment.

The Digital Media Archive is a CD-ROM that contains hundreds of full-color digitized images, audio, video, and lecture outlines to enhance introductory psychology lectures. It includes digitized images of some of the upgraded art in this edition.

A PowerPoint presentation, for Windows, prepared by Paul Wellman, Texas A&M University, is available to accompany this edition of the book.

Allyn and Bacon also makes available to instructors an extensive videotape library. Please see your local Allyn and Bacon sales representative for details regarding the video policy.
