Configuring Netscape for Allyn & Bacon Newsgroups

1. Open Netscape Preferenced

Under the Netscape Edit menu, select Preferences

2. Add New News Host

Select the Mail & Groups category in the Preferences.
Select Groups Server under "Mail & Groups".

3. Enter Name of News Server (ssnews.prenhall.com)

In the Discussion groups (news) server text box, enter the name of the News Server you have been given
Click OK

You have now completed your configuration process for this Newsgroup. Communicator will automatically find the newsgroups on the server, when they are requested.
