Configuring Netscape for Allyn & Bacon Newsgroups

1. Open Netscape News: Under the Netscape Window menu, select Netscape News
2. Add New News Host: Under the File menu, select the Open News Host option.
3. Enter Name of News Server (ssnews.prenhall.com): In the dialog box that appears, enter the name of the News Server you have been given.
4. Open News Server: The name of the news server you just entered will appear next to a folder in the upper left frame. Click on the folder to open it.
5. Add a Newsgroup: Under the File menu, select the Add Newsgroup option.
6. Enter Name of Newsgroup: In the dialog box that appears, enter the name of the Newsgroup you want to access.
7. Subscribe to the Newsgroup: Subscribe to the new Newsgroup, by clicking in the checkmark column beside the name of the newsgroup.

You have now completed your configuration process for this Newsgroup. If you have other newsgroups to add, repeat steps 5 through 7 for each newsgroup.
