This web site accompanies Eugene F. Provenzo, Jr.'s The Internet and the World Wide Web for Preservice Teachers (Needham Heights, MA: Allyn & Bacon Publishers, 1999). It provides web links to as many of the sites listed in the book as possible.

Since the World Wide Web is constantly changing, some of the web sites listed in the book will have been discontinued by the time the book is published. Whenever possible, an alternative web site is provided. Alternative web sites are designated by the icon of a hand on a mouse.

New web sites, not found in the book, which have recently come to the attention of the author, have been included. They will be included in subsequent editions of the book. These sites are indicated by the following icon of a green star with the word "New."
