Consider investigative activities that have been suggested in this book and elsewhere. Many can be carried out either with or without integrated technology, and many depend on technology to be worthwhile. Activities that should be carried without technology also are crucial to the learning process. Or are they? Discuss with a colleague when integrating technology is appropriate and when it is not. Use the chart in Table 5.2 to list examples of activities in three technology-based categories.
