A Final Thought About Teaching With Cases Over the years, I’ve come to realize that just as there are many excellent ways to teach, there are many excellent ways to teach with cases. We know that all excellent teachers do not look, act, think, or teach in the same way. However, we can observe the results of excellent teaching in the classroom by the quality of students’ involvement and participation, knowledge of content, skills in analysis, reasoning, and research, as well as their written and oral presentations. Teaching is a craft that is ultimately learned by doing, and learned more effectively with constructive feedback and reflection. The text and this Website are designed to give you a taste of what other teacher educators have experienced when teaching with cases and to "mentor" you as you embark on your own personal and professional journey with this exciting pedagogy. Please feel free to comment on this Website. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome and appreciated in establishing and maintaining this site as a valuable resource for teacher educators. We also welcome additional resources about teaching with case studies. Please e-mail Mary R. Sudzina at sudzina@udayton.edu with your comments and suggestions.
