They want me to tell you that I am William J. Hunter and that I am an associate professor of teacher education and educational psychology at The University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. However, I want you to know that:
My research has been diverse in method and content (educational measurement, computer application, moral reasoning, school psychology). If you want to know more, you may want to read Spirituality in Moral Education (Hunter, 1993a) or, for fun, the special issue I edited of the Journal of Educational Thought entitled "A Bucket of Words," a collection of creative writing and poetry about teaching and learning which includes three poems and a short story by yours truly (Hunter, 1993b). Of course, I have written a couple of things since 1993, but none of that has aged sufficiently yet. Name of Chapter: Applying Cases to a Computer Applications Course Chapter Preview: Bill Hunter teaches on the "hard" side of education at the University of Calgary. - statistics and technology - and his sense of humor and gentle irreverence are infectious. He recounts his serendipitous exposure to cases through a case competition and the subsequent integration of cases into all courses he now teaches. In this chapter he presents a case he has written for his computer applications course and includes his course Website. Address: Dr. William J. Hunter Webpage: http://www.ucalgary.ca/~hunter/325
