Theodore Kowalski
Ball State University

Theodore Kowalski is a professor of educational leadership at Ball State University. A former teacher, principal, and superintendent, he served as dean of the Teachers College at that institution from 1983 to 1993. His more than 150 professional publications include 12 books, the most recent of which are: Keepers of the Flame: Contemporary Urban Superintendents (1995), Case Studies on Educational Administration (2nd ed., 1995), Public Relations in Age of Information and Reform (1996), and The School Superintendent: Theory, Practice, and Cases (1998).
