Saving Test Items/Exercises

To save test items/exercises on one of the Teaching with Technology web pages, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Chapter page (remember it will be password protected)
2. Look in the File menu of your browser program for a Save As feature.
3. Be sure to specify the following:
   • Choose the appropriate location for your floppy/hard disk.
   • Verify that Text (not Source) is chosen for the type of file.
   • Change the file name if necessary.

The web page (without graphics) will be saved as a text file, which can be opened using any word processing program. If graphics are included in the file, you may want to choose the printing option.

Printing Test Items/Exercises

Note: Most computers will print a web page as it appears on the screen. If the text on the web page is not all visible (lines are longer than the window width), some text may not print.

To print test items/exercises on one of the Teaching with Technology web pages, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Chapter page (remember it will be password protected)
2. Look in the File menu of your browser program for a Print feature or look for a button marked Print.
